Bloody great to stop after a long hot driving day. Jody the host in regular comms regarding my arrival and her availability. Had the aircon going in my room for my arrival . Legendary Lady.
The Rex is a really nice place to stay. We stayed here for three days. When we arrived, I felt ill. We called Jody and could directly go to the room when she wasn't even there. The rooms are nice and clean and the amenities are good too. Jody is a very easy going person and does a really good job running the Rex! Thankyou very much for the great time!
Stayed here for about three months as I was getting my 88 days for my second year visa. It was comfortable, quiet, and over all a pretty good place. Price was okay.
The Rex was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were made at ease. We made some great friends but also had our own privacy. I would highly recommend it if you need a place to stay while visiting Tamworth. Can't complain about the price either.
50 bucks for your own room! Very comfortable. Simple but comprehensive facilities. Friendly owner. I will certainly stay again. Edit: And then I tried to have a night's sleep. Not possible. The building itself is extremely noisy. Any noise travels right throughout it. Foot stomps, banging doors, snorting, coughing... You can hear it all. Avoid if you're a light sleeper.
