First time visit extremely busy very friendly loved the preaching and the praise and worship was really special. No communion that was upsetting and the young man that did the notices was a bit controlling just getting us to stand up and sit down for no particular reason. Going again thats for sure. Loved hearing Jesus being preached

Very inclusive church. Kid friendly.

We came from Melbourne. And we go church every sunday. So when we here we looked up Tamworth. Umm. My self i am Hispanic so i do have dark skin. Even darker when ive been holidaying. My husband is dutch/aboriginal. We were greeted outside with a big smile. When we stepped inside we were told by one if the hushers to go upstairs. And while up there we saw plenty of free seats downstairs. We did not feel welcome. It felt like we had to be hidden away in the up stairs dark room. only 2 tech ppl were there. At the end we went down stairs coz we wanted to chat to ppl about lifestyle in Tamworth. 1st no1 asked for new ppl to come say hi. So that was not something we are use to. As our church always says at the end for new ppl to feel welcome and a welcome pack is included. ThiS place was not like that. Also while down stairs in the play area, My son and i were in. A group of older ppl stood outside the gate with their backs turned. So when i tried to get out one lady stood right there blocking us. she then turned around and gave me and my toddler the dirtiest look ive ever encountered! I guess me being from Melbourne is so multicultural that i never experienced racism discrimination. But today at 30yr of age having lived in Aus all my life. Was the first time i ever felt racism toward me and my little family. It was discusting to say the least. At the begining of the service there was alot of talk about politics. So that was also abit weird... ThE senior preacher was good about talking about Jesus and bible verses. But yeah if your not white anglo then dont come here! What a shame. Its 2018 and these are christians? I'm still racking my head around it. had a very red neck feel. Yea ppl just looked at us as if we were aliens. Is this what country towns are like? racism in Church!? I've been christian my whole life. I also do tithing. I dnt recomend this place for non-white-anglo ppl.

Friendly church for everyone
